Global market support and charting workflow update
Released 2026-08-25 ยท Direct channels: Windows x64, universal macOS, Linux AppImage, Linux .deb
Global markets
- Added a dockable and floatable Global Market Stock Viewer with offline symbol search, instrument filters, market selection, and chart/download/watchlist actions.
- Added an installed global catalog containing exchange-native and Yahoo-compatible symbols, a bundled offline fallback, and SHA-256 verified server updates.
- Added daily automatic update checks and a manual Download > Update Global Market Stock List flow centralized in Market Group Settings.
- Basic can browse one selected market group; Pro can expose multiple groups and search across All Selected Markets. Manual ticker entry remains available for other provider-supported symbols.
Drawing and chart workflow
- Added Trend Ray, Extended Line, Info Line, and Quadrant Lines.
- Added Duplicate Selected Line Study and Keep Drawing Mode.
- Added optional Fibonacci 78.6%, 127.2%, 161.8%, and 261.8% levels.
Fixes
- Fixed catalog downloads so the compressed payload is preserved and a freshly published server catalog is used after an update check.
- Fixed the latest-close dotted guide in future chart space on both linear and logarithmic scales.
- Removed phantom zero-value guide dashes beyond the final real data bar.
Compatibility and data notes
- Existing local data, settings, workspaces, and license locations continue from V3.0; back up important local files before upgrading as normal.
- Linux V3.1 no longer requires
libsecret-toolsor thesecret-toolcommand. - The symbol catalog supports discovery; price history and fundamentals still depend on the configured provider and are not a bundled real-time feed.
- No chart file-format migration is required for this release. V3.0 packages remain available below as the legacy rollback option.
- Privacy documentation now describes baseline app-start and app-exit lifecycle events; other optional usage events remain controlled by the usage-telemetry setting.
